Giovanna Olinto

Giovanna Olinto is the Director of Business Development, Government Services at Falcon Capital Advisors. She specializes in business development strategy, financial regulatory policy, and capital markets. In her role, Ms. Olinto leads the firm’s efforts in shaping business development strategy and fostering strategic relationships with federal agencies and industry partners to drive growth and innovation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Olinto has led high-impact initiatives for clients, including advising on complex financial regulatory transitions such as the LIBOR Transition and the adoption of mortgage-backed securities products and programs. Her expertise in housing finance policy, data analytics and capital market operations has been integral to helping clients manage risk and successfully navigate regulatory changes.

Prior to joining Falcon Capital Advisors, Ms. Olinto worked at a Brazilian investment management firm where she focused on global capital markets and financial regulations, including research on European banks and the sovereign debt crisis. Earlier in her career, she worked at a Brazilian research institute in Rio de Janeiro, conducting economic research and evaluating public policy programs.

Ms. Olinto holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
