USDA Loan/Grant Program Administration

Since 2018, Falcon has helped USDA stand-up and manage the ReConnect Program, administering $2.5 Billion in loan/grants to expand broadband to rural areas. We lead the financial underwriting, technical assessments, environmental compliance, provide recommendations to USDA on the feasibility of each project, and draft post-award offer letters and legal documents. We also perform long-term portfolio monitoring, audit support, and stakeholder training.

U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development Multifamily Loan Underwriting

Under the Waseyabek Falcon 8(a) JV, we provide multifamily loan underwriting and closing support services to HUD, including project management, loan application underwriting, and loan closing administration for loan applications under Sections 223(a)(7) refinancing of existing multifamily rental housing, 223(f) purchase or refinancing of existing multifamily rental housing, and 221(d)(4) new construction or substantial rehabilitation of rental housing.

U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development Asset Sales Transaction Specialist

Facilitate loan sales for single-family, multifamily and healthcare loans. We are responsible for handling the transaction closing, post-closing tasks, breach monitoring, and providing loan underwriting and portfolio analysis services to HUD. Falcon has assisted the FHA Office of Asset Sales in the sale of more than $6.9 billion in mortgages.

Ginnie Mae Business Solutions Services

Support Ginnie Mae's modernization initiatives through various services, including project management, organizational analysis, business case development and portfolio analytics. We have led multiple modernization efforts, such as Digital Mortgage Transformation, LIBOR Transition, Compliance Review Tools, Multifamily Risk Share Program Analysis, Next Generation Transformation.

Ginnie Mae Digital Collateral

Advisor to Ginnie Mae on the Digital Collateral Program, formulating policy based on analysis of documentation, regulations, and industry practices. We collaborate on integrating technology vendors, designing procedures, and piloting the program. Ongoing support includes program updates, operations, and management assistance.

Ginnie Mae Data Analytics Services

Provide comprehensive data analytics services to support Ginnie Mae. We analyzed trillions of mortgage data rows, delivering monthly reports on portfolio trends, performance, and risks. Additionally, we conducted time-sensitive ad-hoc analyses for the Ginnie Mae MBS program.

U.S. Department of Energy Loan Program Support Services

Provide management and analytical support for DOE’s Loan Program Office (LPO) in the planning, administration, management, and operation of its loan programs. Support the life cycle of a loan guarantee, from the loan origination, evaluation and analysis, and due diligence to the award of conditional commitments, the issuance of loan guarantees, post award project monitoring, as well as portfolio management and reporting.

U.S. Department of Commerce Grant Program Review

Conduct technical and merit reviews of applications received under the Build to Scale, STEM, Tech Hubs and Recompete Pilot Programs. The appropriation includes $500 million for launching the Tech Hubs program and $200 million for launching the Distressed Area Recompete Pilot Program authorized under the CHIPS and Science Act.
