Ken Yoo, PMP, is the Chief Operating Officer at Falcon Capital Advisors and has over 20 years+ of senior leadership experience in banking, housing finance, consulting, risk management, and regulatory oversight. He provides leadership in supervising the Firm’s daily operational and administrative functions. Reporting to the Firm’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Yoo’s areas of oversight at Falcon include daily operational supervision, strategic planning, M&A planning and integration, IT and physical infrastructure management, and governance/risk/compliance activities.
Prior to joining Falcon Capital Advisors, Mr. Yoo has held various executive-level roles, including Chief Risk Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. Mr. Yoo has also had senior leadership experience working at Capital One, BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), and the Federal Housing Finance Agency (formerly OFHEO). Mr. Yoo has served as a board member and former Vice Chair of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) and as a member of the Risk Management Association’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Council. He holds a Master’s degree from George Washington University in International Affairs (Finance), a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Tech, in addition, has attained the Advanced Risk Management Certification from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Mr. Yoo has also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
